Avery Riggs, Allen Harris Design’s new intern, moved to Florida after earning a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Prior to interning at Allen Harris Design, Riggs was the production manager at TEDxUNCAsheville.
During her time in the mass communication department, Riggs became proficient working with high-end videography equipment, video editing programs, and journalistic writing styles and practices. At TEDxUNCAsheville, she was responsible for website maintenance, social media management, promotional content development and community outreach.
Riggs’s broad experience includes published author, production manager and videographer. As an intern, Riggs is expanding her experience to include Adobe Creative applications, website design and development, and furthering her copywriting skills. Welcome aboard!
