Our vision has always been to provide “big agency thinking” without “big agency overhead,” and to create work that “makes a difference” for our clients.

Allen Harris Design serves individuals; large, medium and small companies; and not-for-profit and charitable organizations with current, imaginative and results-producing designs and consultation.

Amy Allen, owner of Allen Harris Design, has more than two decades of diverse experience as an award-winning Art and Creative Director, and as a successful entrepreneur.

Early in her career, Allen served as Production Manager for the largest direct mail firm in the country, and later as Art/Creative Director for three leading Tampa Bay Area Ad Shops where she honed her skills working on local and national accounts, including Busch Gardens, Star Distribution Systems, St. Anthony¹s Wellness Center, Bausch and Lomb, Cadillac and McDonald’s restaurants.

After many rewarding years working for others, Allen set out on her own to offer clients original, results-driven advertising and creative design work that was cost-effective.  That dream came to life in 1989 when she formed Allen Harris Design.

Always eager to take on new challenges and grow as a designer, Allen keeps up-to-date on the latest trends, colors and design advances, as well as cutting-edge technology. In addition, Allen works with an extensive list of professionals in various specialty fields in order to offer clients the best services available in the area.

Yvonne Barrett, production manager at Allen Harris Design, has been an integral asset to the company for eight years.

Before joining Allen Harris Design, Barrett worked at the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg where she gained experience with grant management and marketing initiatives, including advertising and marketing campaigns, special events, brand management and fundraising.

Barrett brought with her expertise in Adobe Creative applications, Microsoft Office, website design and development, proofreading and editing, and client relations. She continues to develop her skills and is vital to the success of Allen Harris Design.

Production Manager

Avery Riggs, an intern at Allen Harris Design, moved to Florida after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Riggs became proficient working with high-end videography equipment, video editing programs, and journalistic writing styles and practices during her time in the mass communication department.

Prior to interning at Allen Harris Design, Riggs was the production manager at TEDxUNCAsheville. She was responsible for website maintenance, social media management, promotional content development and community outreach. As a result, she became familiar with website design and development, conceptualizing successful marketing campaigns and implementing effective advertising ploys.

Riggs’s broad experience includes published author, production manager and videographer. As an intern, Riggs is expanding her experience to include Adobe Creative applications and website design and development.
